Durward S.

Durward, or “Dur”, joined the State Line team in 1989 and currently serves as the Lot Manager. In this role, Dur is responsible for overseeing the movement of vehicles to various shops and parking locations and ensuring that vehicles are properly located and marked for sale day. Dur has an interesting background, having attended Incirlik CDI High School, Bemidji State University, and the University of Northern Colorado. Before joining State Line, he worked as a truck driver and furniture mover for Atlas Van Lines for nine years. What Dur enjoys most about working at State Line is the sense of teamwork that remains central to the business. He appreciates that the auto auction still requires hands-on collaboration, with little reliance on automation. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, of 33 years, and their one child. He’s also a proud owner of three dogs, who he refers to as his “four-legged children.” Dur loves the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, and enjoys making the most of his time in nature.
